We currently have vacancies for:

Personal tax compliance manager

You will provide personal tax compliance for a wide-ranging portfolio of clients. You’ll develop relationships with clients by attending meetings, as well as providing ongoing written and verbal support to clients. You’ll also be responsible for supervising and coaching less experienced team members. Candidates should be CTA qualified.

Audit senior

Reporting directly to a manager, you will work as part of a team to support a wide variety of client businesses. You will be responsible for leading audits from start to finish, checking and supervising the work of junior staff and ensuring that budgets and deadlines are met. Candidates should be ACA/ACCA qualified with three to five years’ experience.

Accounts Semi Senior

Produce statutory accounts for limited companies with correct disclosures, and prepare the accounts file ready for review.  

Produce accounts for sole traders and partnerships, and prepare the accounts file ready for review.

Reconciliation of all control accounts.

Produce corporation tax and capital allowances computations for limited companies.

The clients vary in size and sector. Some provide Sage datasets and others provide manual books or incomplete source records.

Regular client contact by letter or phone and occasional trips to client premises.

Experience and Competencies Needed:

Part qualified or qualified by experience accountant. Confidence to work on  own with a minimum amount of supervision.

A minimum of eighteen months experience of working in an accountancy practice, producing statutory accounts for limited companies and sole traders and partnerships.

Good working knowledge of double entry book-keeping.

Good working knowledge of following software packages: Viztopia accounts production or similar, Sage Line 50, Microsoft Office and CorpTax or similar.

Good communication skills with clients and fellow team members.
