Seminar for Solicitors to Help Hospice Appeal
25/02/2011
Chartered accountants and insolvency practitioners Harris Lipman are staging a seminar on the current financial issues facing law firms, in aid of the London Hospice.
The seminar, jointly arranged with Barclays Corporate and Barclays Wealth Management, will be on a ‘Beatles’ theme with sessions including ‘We can work it out’ on the relationship between law firms and insolvency practitioners and ‘Money (that’s what I want)’ on profit improvement.
And as a further treat, the event, which takes place at Tottenham Hotspur’s White Hart Lane ground, will conclude with a tour of the stadium and a buffet supper.
The event takes place on Thursday, 24 March, from 5pm to 9pm and anyone wishing to take part is invited to make a £25 donation to the London Hospice. This can be done using a ‘JustGiving’ link on the Harris Lipman website at www.harris-lipman.co.uk, and the firm will match all money raised, pound for pound.
Michael Bernstein from Harris Lipman said: “We act for a number of clients in the legal profession and always endeavour to keep them up to speed with the latest developments in the financial world, as they affect them.
“This seminar will provide an opportunity for solicitors to take advantage of ours and Barclays’ knowledge in this area, as well as hopefully providing a fun networking opportunity and the chance to raise some funds for a very good local cause.”
