Accountants Show Telepathic Understanding

London chartered accountants Harris Lipman has once again proved it is at the cutting edge of technology by launching its own Apple App for users of the iPhone.

Its LipmanLogic game appears to read players’ minds by inviting them to think of a number, then correctly guessing what it is.

As the iPhone grew in popularity, the partners at Harris Lipman had the idea to add their own App to the thousands already on offer, and a good friend of theirs who is a professional magician suggested a variant on the popular ‘think of a number’ game, where individuals are invited to select a popular number or playing card, and the magician ‘reads’ the participant’s mind to select the correct number.

Harris Lipman contacted a specialist App developer, and the finished product is now available free of charge from the App store.

Harris Lipman partner Martin Atkins said: “We’ve always tried to be at the forefront of new technology and use the latest methods to communicate with new and existing clients.

“We realised the Apple App was a real up-and-coming technology, so we wanted to be part of it, and once we had the right idea in place, it was all systems go.

“I hope people will get a lot of pleasure out of this game and enjoy impressing their friends with their mind-reading abilities!”

Once users have completed the games, they are given the option to go to a page explaining how it works – or of course they can try again and attempt to work it out for themselves.
